If clients or the public regularly come into the space, reception areas, meeting rooms and washrooms need to be visibly clean every day, even if the rest of the office is cleaned less often.
Type of work
Offices with shared equipment, food preparation, or higher hygiene expectations (healthcare, food-adjacent businesses) generally need more frequent attention to high-touch surfaces specifically, even if a full clean isn’t needed daily.
Building size and layout
Open-plan offices with shared kitchens and breakout areas tend to need more frequent attention than compartmentalised offices with fewer shared spaces.
